Carbon Emissions from energy consumed by our Data Centre actives is offset by The World Land Trust Carbon Balanced Program
Dedicated onsite transformer allowing power consumption to be increased should the need arise
Diesel Generators as back-up – N+1 to provide power to the Data Centre in the unlikely event of a power cut
UPS system - redundant parallel formation - N+1 which provides power in the interim before the Diesel Generators come online

Fire and Security

Very Early Smoke Detection Apparatus (VESDA) installed to enable fires to be suppressed before they are fully developed
FM200 fire suppression system extinguishes fires without damaging equipment
Under floor leak detection to prevent any issues related to flooding of the Data Centre
CCTV system covering all entrances/exits and main areas to ensure that the Data Centre  facility is secure at all times
24-hour video recording which is then held on site for review should the need arise
Fully alarmed floor covering entrances and emergency exits meaning that we will always know if the Data Centre is occupied
Biometric security access system for additional security
Visual verification of all persons entering the data floor

The Data Centre facility in the South of England is based at County Gates House, Poole, Dorset.	Data Centre KVM Consoles allow our servers to be controlled at OS and BIOS levels both at the Data Centre and remotely. Power Distribution Unit which controls the amount of power distributed to each individual rack.
