All our Website Hosting Packages are hosted on our own Windows Server 2008 R2 with Microsoft's IIS7.5 web servers with support for Classic ASP, ASP.NET, and PHP. The following components are
also installed on our Windows Server 2008 web servers: -
Microsoft Classic ASP

ASP.NET Framework Versions 4.0, 3.5 SP1, 3.0, 2.0
ASP.NET is a powerful web application framework that can be utilised for building dynamic websites. The Web Wiz servers have ASP.NET 4.0, 3.5, 3.0, and 2.0 installed. You can select which version you wish to use from your control panel.
Please note: ASP.NET 3.0 and 3.5 SP1 add extensions to
ASP.NET 2.0, if you select ASP.NET 2.0 for your site from your control
panel it will also support ASP.NET 3.0 and 3.5.
Microsoft ASP.NET AJAX

Microsoft ASP.NET MVP 2.0 & 1.0 (Model View Controller)
ASP.NET MVC provides a new Model-View-Controller (MVC) framework on top of the existing ASP.NET 3.5 runtime. This means that developers can take advantage of the MVC design patterns to create their Web Applications which includes the ability to achieve and maintain a clear separation of Model, View and Controller.
LINQ (Language Integrated Query)
LINQ is a set of extensions to .NET Framework in ASP.NET 3.5 that encompass language-integrated query, set, and transform operations. LINQ adds a native querying syntax similar to SQL to many .NET Framework programming languages.
Microsoft Silverlight 4.0 & 3.0
Silverlight is a cross-browser, cross-platform implementation of the .NET Framework for building and delivering the next generation of media experiences and Rich Interactive Applications (RIA). It runs in all popular browsers, including Microsoft Internet Explorer, Mozilla Firefox, Apple Safari, Opera. The plugin required to run Silverlight is very small in size. PHP 5.2
PHP 5.2 is a very popular scripting language with a wide variety of free scripts available on the Internet. We are using Microsoft's FastCGI for PHP which gives native multi-threaded support on the Windows platform for high performance and improve compatibility.

Microsoft URL Rewrite Module 2.0 for IIS 7
The IIS URL Rewrite Module provides a rule-based rewriting mechanism for changing requested URL’s before they get processed by web server. The module can be used to express URL rewriting logic that can use regular expressions or wildcards and can make rewriting decisions based on HTTP headers and server variables.
Installing Components
If a commercially available component you require is not installed on our servers then we can normally meet this requirement provided you reimburse or contribute to any licensing costs incurred and we feel that the component will benefit other users, please contact us for more information.
Components written by yourself cannot be installed on our servers.
