POP 3 MialboxesPOP 3, IMAP & Roaming SMTP Email Settings


Web Wiz mailboxes support POP3, IMAP, Roaming SMTP, and WebMail services. On this page you will find out how to setup your POP 3\IMAP email client, such as Outlook to send and receive emails from your Web Wiz Mailboxes.

To pick up and send email using the Web Wiz mail servers you need to enter the following details into your email client: -


SMTP Outgoing Server (Roaming SMTP)

Roaming SMTP Mail Server smtp.WebSiteLive.net
SMTP Submission Port 587 - Used for sending email. Plain Text and Encrypted TLS (SSL) connections supported
SMTP Port (TLS/SSL Only) 465 - Used for sending email. Encrypted TLS (SSL) Connections supported
SMTP Port (Alternative Port)
25 - Alternative Port for sending email.
Username The email address as you have specified in your Control Panel
Password As you have specified in your Control Panel for the email address


POP 3 Incoming Server Settings

POP Mail Server pop.WebSiteLive.net
POP 3 Port 110 - Used for Plain Text or Encrypted TLS (SSL) connection to mail server to pickup emails
POP 3 Port (TLS/SSL Only) 995 - Used for Encrypted TLS (SSL) connection to mail server to pickup emails
Username The email address as you have specified in your Control Panel
Password As you have specified in your Control Panel for the email address


IMAP Settings

IMAP Mail Server imap.WebSiteLive.net
IMAP Port
143 - Used for Plain Text and Encrypted TLS (SSL) connection to mail server
IMAP Port (TLS/SSL Only) 993 - Used for Encrypted TLS (SSL) connection to mail server
Username The email address as you have specified in your Control Panel
Password As you have specified in your Control Panel for the email address


Webmail Login

Webmail URL (Encrypted TLS/SSL) https://www.WebMailLive.net
Alt. Webmail URL http://webmail.example.com (replace example.com with your own domain name)
Username The email address as you have specified in your Control Panel
Password As you have specified in your Control Panel for the email address

SPAM Filtering

Email is scanned for SPAM by Cyren Premium Anti-Spam and Realtime Blackhole Lists (RBL) which tag SPAM email with a weighting letting you decide what action to take. You are able to configure SPAM Filters on our servers selecting what action to take with various SPAM weightings, including; take no action, filtering to junk mail folder, or deleting.

You are able to configurable SPAM Filters from your webmail account. You can select what action to take when emails are detected as being SPAM. By default emails detected as SPAM with have the subject line prefixed with; ** SPAM-LOW **, ** SPAM-MED **, and ** SPAM-HIGH **.


Anti-Virus Scanning

Email is scanned by Cyren Zero-Hour Antivirus Virus. Rather than depending on heuristics, Cyren Zero-hour Antivirus uses Recurrent Pattern Detection (RPD) to scan the Internet and identify malware outbreaks as soon as they emerge, providing proactive virus blocking for your mailboxes.
